Therefore we make every effort to help patients feel comfortable and confident about their decision to undergo cosmetic surgery. Dr. Zubowski will use this time to understand your concerns including motivations for seeking treatment and cosmetic goals.

What to Expect

When you arrive at our serene plastic surgery office in New Jersey, you can immediately feel at ease. Our patient coordinator, Ann Carbone, will greet you and provide you with the necessary medical forms and questionnaires for you to fill out. It is important to fill out these forms in their entirety and disclose any current or past medical conditions. This will ensure your safety throughout every part of the plastic surgery process.  These forms are also available on our web site and can be completed electronically prior to your visit.

During your consultation with Dr. Zubowski, he will take the time to listen to your specific needs and goals, explain procedure options and answer any questions that you may have. He will perform an examination to determine your candidacy for specific procedures and then tell you which procedure(s) you might be suited for. Patients are encouraged to bring photos that represent the kind of results they would like to receive. Dr. Zubowski will also show you photos of past patients so that you can get an idea of the results that are possible under his care. This is also a great opportunity for you to find out more about Dr. Zubowski, including his medical education, training, and other related experience.

Dr. Zubowski’s cosmetic surgery consultations are unique thanks to the innovative technology available at his practice, including Vectra. Vectra is 3D imaging software that allows patients to preview what they might look like after a specific procedure. During the consultation, Dr. Zubowski will take photos using a 3D camera, and upload them to Sculptor software, where they can be manipulated to reflect the kind of changes patients desire. This is a revolutionary technology that allows patients to be more confident than ever before in their treatment decisions.

Plastic surgery consultations typically last about one hour, but patients should never feel rushed. Rest assured that we will take the time to help you get the information you need to make an informed decision.

Scheduling Surgery

After your consultation with Dr. Zubowski, you will have an opportunity to meet with our patient coordinator, Ann. She will help you go over the details of your surgery; during this meeting you will choose a date and time for treatment and discuss costs and payment options. You will also receive thorough instructions for preparing for surgery. This will include instructions for items such as quitting smoking at least three weeks prior to surgery and how to prepare on surgery day. You will also be provided with any prescriptions that may be necessary post-surgery, so that you can focus solely on healing after treatment.
